What this site is

Sengoku Rance Wiki is an unofficial fan reference for Sengoku Rance — the AliceSoft game released in Japan in 2006 as the seventh entry in the Rance series, published on Steam by Kagura Games and MangaGamer. The Steam release came out on 1 October 2026 and is a Windows-only title; it can be played on Steam Deck, though we make no guarantees about compatibility.

The game plays as a grand-strategy hybrid: you manage territory and resources, recruit generals, build armies, then resolve fights in a turn-based tactical system, with visual-novel storytelling and multiple branching endings layered on top. That mix is why the useful answers here are about systems, numbers and routes rather than story beats — so that is what this site covers.

Who it is for, and what is on it

This is a gameplay guide site for adult players. Every page is about mechanics: territory and economy management, general stats and recruitment, army composition, battle formation and turn order, routing and conquest order, save handling, and troubleshooting.

We do not publish adult content. The original Sengoku Rance is an adult title and its Steam store page carries adult-content tags. This site carries none of that: no explicit descriptions, no adult screenshots or artwork, and no links to such material. When a topic could only be covered by quoting or depicting adult scenes, we leave it out. Nothing here is written for readers under 18.

How accuracy is handled

Where we can, we verify claims against the build we are describing — Steam store and app metadata, values read in game, and several independent sources when community sources disagree. Every image used is a gameplay or interface capture.

Anything that depends on the 2006 Japanese original, or on community-made English patches from that era, is labelled as such along with the era it comes from. The Steam release is the version this site primarily covers; where something differs between the 2006 original and the Steam version, we say which one the page describes.
